Update - Green Ontario Fund Window Rebate Program (cancelled June 19th, 2018)
In December 2017, the Ontario Green Ontario Fund introduced a window rebate program, funded through proceeds from the Ontario Carbon Tax. This initiative aimed to incentivize energy-efficient home upgrades, including window installations. However, on June 19, 2018, the Ontario government announced the termination of the program.
