Weep hole (drain hole)
A small opening in a window sill that allows water drainage. A small opening placed every few inches along the butt edge of a siding panel through which water may drain to the exterior.
Window balance
A spring or weight that holds the sash in any vertical location.
Window Chambers
Tiny spaces within window sash or frame that act like insulating air pockets and add strength.
